Welcome to our new website.  This year is an exciting one for us on many counts, as we celebrate our Silver Anniversary.  Twenty-five years ago, a small group of parents entrusted their children to the educational care of Mrs Shirley Mead, our first teacher and founding Principal.  She was described as, ‘dedicated to God and children’.  I believe this is still a hallmark of our staff in 2009.  I firmly agree with the words of Dr Michael Carr-Gregg (Australian Psychologist) who recently commented that one telling factor for a positive school environment is “the quality of staff and their relationship with their students”.

Northside is a truly extraordinary school.

After only 25 years, we have witnessed consistently high academic results, proven pathways to employment through the College's Vocational Education Program and a breadth of co-curricular offerings.  However, it has not only been teachers and students who have helped form our College culture.  Past and present parents have had the wonderful attitudes of being contributors to a community rather than consumers of a product and this has blessed the College greatly.

We look forward to hearing your feedback as we continue to develop the website as a key informational and interactive tool for the Northside Christian College community.

Did you know that you can now view our College newsletter online?  The current and past editions can be found under the 'Resources' Tab.  I would also like to encourage all parents to register to receive an email version of the newsletter as soon as possible, as it is our hope to move to electronic newsletters (soft copy) in 2010. If this is not possible for you, i.e. - you do not have the internet at home, - you can register at Main Reception to still receive a hard copy.
