Our students, parents and staff represent a variety of churches in Brisbane and Moreton Bay Region. Although the many churches vary in size, style and denomination, we are united around the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is this unified faith that allows for a successful partnership between church, home and school.
Our parents, teachers and pastors are all unified in purpose to see students grow to love Jesus and love others well. Northside believes this partnership supports students becoming life-long learners who follow Christ.
Together, we are able to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for authentic faith, transformative education and Christian character development.
There are countless stories of how this church home school partnership provides spiritual fruit for students and alumni. If you attend a Sunday church service in Brisbane you will likely find Northsiders on stage leading worship. On Friday nights you will witness Northsiders serving food to the homeless in Fortitude Valley, or involved with Christian youth groups across the city. Our alumni go out into their workplaces and businesses to be salt and light; transformational in their spheres of influence.
Nexus Church
Northside Christian College commenced in 1985 and remains a significant ministry of Nexus Church (formerly Northside Christian Church), which is co-located on the same campus. Other ministries on our campus include Next Steps Kindy (2012) and Nexus Care (2007). Find out more about our history and governance here.
