Junior School Library Book Fair
Thank you to all the families who shopped at the fair. Book Fair is a wonderful fundraiser for our school library. This year we earned a commission of $2428 and of this we were able to send a donation of $200 to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. The remaining commission allows us to purchase many good quality resources for our library.
A big ‘Thank You’ to all of the parents who volunteered and spent many hours helping at the fair. Also to Mrs. Rose, who not only arranged all of our volunteers, but also spent many hours helping out during the week.
The Year 6 Library Pals were such a big help during those busy times, before and after school and at lunchtimes. The library staff couldn’t have run the fair without them, and are very grateful for their help.
Dinosaur Egg Competition
The Book Fair is a great community event in our school, and children look forward to it every year. All children have an opportunity to enter a competition, and children enjoyed coming to look at all the entries during lunchtimes. Many parents also enjoyed coming to see the creative ‘dinosaur eggs’.
