Deputy Principal - Full Time

Northside Christian College is seeking an experienced, energetic, and visionary leader to take on the position of Deputy Principal.

The Deputy Principal is responsible for supporting the Principal in the leadership, management, and operations of Northside Christian College. As a member of the School's Senior Leadership Team, the Deputy Principal is responsible for contributing to and influencing strategic planning and decision-making at a whole School level and leads all day-to-day activities and operations of the College.

Northside Christian College was established in 1985 to provide an academically excellent and spiritually wholesome education for local Christian church members. Over thirty-five years later, Northside is now a leading private, co-educational, non-denominational Brisbane Christian college in Everton Park. We offer Christ-centred education from Prep to Year 12 on one campus. The College has become respected for great academic results, commitment to character development, sporting spirit, and passionate community service.

School Bus Driver - Casual or Part Time

We are seeking a qualified Bus Driver to join our friendly, professional team of drivers, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of students and staff. 

Casual or Permanent Part Time available (morning and/or afternoon school runs, 40 weeks of the year).

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A professional and friendly approach
  • Minimum of MR license
  • Recent heavy vehicle driving experience
  • A current (or able to obtain) Drivers Authorization
  • Blue Card (for Paid employment) for working with children or eligibility

Kindy Assistant Educator – Casual

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kindy Assistant Educator to join our dedicated team. Working casually in our Aftercare and Holiday Program, you must be available for a minimum of two afternoons per week from 2:30 pm – 6 pm and on school holidays. 

We are looking for an energetic and passionate Educator who will:

  • Exhibit our genuine Christian commitment and care for students
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate and build positive relationships with children, parents and other members of the Next Steps Kindy team
  • Display an engaging and warm rapport with young children
  • Have current industry experience with young children in the Kindergarten age group
  • Have knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and National Quality Framework

Qualification and Skills required:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood or studying toward a Bachelor of Early Childhood
  • An approved first aid, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis management certificate
  • A current employee Blue Card
  • An active Christian faith

Property Maintenance and Grounds Person - Full Time

Property Maintenance and Grounds Person

Full Time

We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable Property Maintenance and Grounds Person with a passion for maintaining our College facilities at a high level of operational effectiveness and public presentation. This role performs a wide variety of routine and minor gardening, grounds and maintenance tasks within a dedicated team. 

The applicant we are seeking should be energetic and really enjoy working in the great outdoors. You will need to have proven organisational skills and a genuine interest in tending and caring for our gardens, sporting fields, grounds and maintaining our buildings and facilities. 

Reporting to the Leading Grounds person, in this role you will be provided with all the necessary PPE equipment, machinery and tools required for the job. 

This position is Full Time permanent with 4 weeks annual leave per annum. Working hours are 6.30am – 3.00pm Monday – Friday.  

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A professional and friendly approach
  • Relevant industry experience, certificate or diploma (eg Horticulture) advantageous 
  • Landscaping knowledge or general maintenance/ trade experience 
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Blue Card (for Paid employment) for working with children, or eligibility 
  • An active Christian faith
