IT Systems Support Officer - Systems Administrator

(Full time)

The Systems Support Officer - Systems Administrator is responsible for the deployment and administration of College Systems, particularly servers. They will recommend, document and implement best practice IT methodologies, to deliver a high quality of service to the College community.

The position will foster and maintain close working relationships with all levels of staff to ensure that the IT department has an understanding of, and the ability to respond to, the existing and emerging technology requirements of the College.

The role is a full-time position, with a requirement to occasionally work outside of regular College hours.

Prior experience in systems administration work and a relevant qualification is preferred. you will need to possess a friendly open nature, enjoy interacting with staff and be able to exhibit Northside Christian College's genuine Christian commitment and care for students.

Teacher Aide - Food and Fibre

(Part-Time)

An exciting opportunity has become available for an energetic and motivated Teacher Aide to join Northside Christian College - a Prep to Year 12 College located in the leafy suburb of Everton Park in Brisbane's inner north. The successful applicant will join an outstanding Christian College committed to inspiring and developing students’ spiritual, academic, emotional and social potential.

We are keen to hear from applicants wanting to work part-time (5 day fortnight) during Term 1, 2021.  Immediate start is available.

Prior experience working as a Teacher Aide is an advantage. The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant experience, knowledge and skills. 
  • A strong interest in supporting students' learning in Food and Fibre 
  • An engaging manner and a warm rapport with children
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work as part of a team
  • Friendly open nature and "can-do" attitude
  • The ability to exhibit Northside Christian College's genuine Christian commitment and care for students
  • An employee blue Card (or eligibility to obtain one)

Specific duties include:

  • Assistance to students during both kitchen and textiles classes
  • Set up and pull down for Practical demonstrations
  • Occasional administrative duties
