From our Deputy Principal, Mr Craig Milligan

Mr Craig Milligan

2025 signified the start of our next strategic plan cycle (2025–2029), and in consultation with all major stakeholders, we have designed a visionary and purpose-driven roadmap that reflects a deep commitment to our foundational vision of “Character through Christ”.

We wanted to ensure that we remain rooted in our foundational pillars of Faith, Learning, Excellence, Character, and Community but at the same time, preparing for what the future may hold.

The plan articulates a bold aspiration to be a leader in Christian education, taking good care of the people and resources God has given us, and equipping our students to be transformational in their spheres of influence.

A key strength of the plan is its holistic approach to progress and development. The emphasis on deepening our Christ-centred identity, showcases our commitment to spiritual growth, discipleship, and legacy-building.

Initiatives such as spiritual leadership training, faith-integrated learning, and community engagement reflect our proactive and inclusive strategy that extends beyond the campus into broader society.

The focus on engaged and innovative learning is equally important. By fostering critical thinking, personalised growth, and contemporary learning environments, the plan ensures students are well-prepared for future challenges. The integration of technology, wellbeing services, and behaviour education models highlights a forward-thinking approach that values both academic and personal development.

Furthermore, the strategy to empower a thriving and resilient team demonstrates our strong organisational culture. Through enriched staff experiences, leadership development, and operational excellence, the plan promotes a workplace where individuals feel valued, supported, and inspired to contribute meaningfully. God has gifted us with so many wonderfully talented and servant-hearted staff and we want to continue to support and showcase our team, whilst at the same time, making Northside a school of choice.

Overall, the Strategic Plan is a testament to the College’s unwavering dedication to its mission and values. It reflects thoughtful planning, community collaboration, and a clear vision for the future. The initiatives outlined are not only ambitious but also achievable, setting a strong foundation for sustained impact and growth over the next five years.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Our College thrives when staff, students, parents, and community members work together towards a shared vision. As we bring our strategy to life, there are many ways you can contribute. Every step of involvement helps strengthen our community and shape the future we are building together:

As we step forward into this next chapter of our College’s story, we invite you to partner with us in prayer.

Please join us in asking God for wisdom and His guiding hand over every goal, decision, and initiative. Pray for our leadership, staff, students, and community — that together, we will honour Him in all we do and steward the opportunities before us.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we exist to serve our community and fulfil our mission. Every dollar given goes directly towards supporting our programs, resources, and the people we serve.

Give today and be part of the difference we’re making together.

Whether you can give a few hours a week or contribute to a specific project, your time and skills will make a real difference. We invite you to consider the volunteering opportunities at the College.
