In 1888, the world was blessed with a style of storytelling that would influence cultures and artistic expression on a world-wide scale. Moving image storytelling has evoked various emotions, sparked motivation, repulsed, awestruck and inspired generations. Before even the use of audible dialogue became present in film, music was always there to convey the complex themes and emotions enjoyed by audiences of all ages. The night was a celebration and a showcase of music from movies in one brilliant, extravaganza.

"Music of the Movies" was a showcase of talent and hard work featuring 9 pieces from 9 movies. There were some unforgettable performances by students, staff, alumni and special guests!

The Northside Orchestra, comprised of Secondary students did an outstanding job to accompany all the featured pieces.
