Although some of our regular competitions have been cancelled, we have been planning and working hard to arrange alternative competitions to enable students to get back out on the field/court. While sport may look a little different, due to adherence to Covid-safe guidelines, we are excited that students can have some fun, get some exercise and put their training and sporting skills into practice.

At the end of last term, secondary students enjoyed getting back into competitive sport (albeit friendly) with some athletics field events held on the College oval. Students participated in high jump, shot put, javelin and long jump and it was great to see so many getting involved and having a go.

From this week we have teams competing in Met Finals play-offs, BOSL Netball, modified Basketball, Volleyball and Soccer competitions will commence next week, and district interschool sport for year 7, 8 and 9 students will kick off in week 5. Students will also have the opportunity participate in Queensland Christian Schools Sports Association gala days for netball, soccer and basketball throughout the term.
