Our Year 9 camp at Noosa North Shore was an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, laughter, and new challenges. Students enthusiastically embraced a wide range of outdoor activities, including surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, mountain bike riding, bouldering, archery, and the ever-popular archery tag. Even the teachers joined in the fun, with several bravely trying their hand at stand-up paddle boarding alongside the students.

When not participating in activities, students enjoyed some well-earned free time relaxing and swimming in the pool. Throughout the camp, many students discovered new skills and interests, building confidence and teamwork as they stepped outside their comfort zones.

One of the highlights of the camp was the lively Retro 80s dance night, energetically led by Miss Maher. Students fully embraced the theme, dressing in bright colours, leg warmers, and bold 80s-inspired outfits, with prizes awarded for the best-dressed male and female.

The evening was full of music, dancing, and plenty of laughter. Another memorable moment was the daily sight of large groups of wallabies grazing peacefully on the grass each afternoon, a special reminder of the beautiful natural environment surrounding the camp. Overall, the trip provided a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with each other, enjoy the outdoors, and create lasting memories.
