Year 9 Excursion to Emu Gully
The wet and cool weather of the 30th of May would have deterred most from heading outdoors, but that didn’t stop the Year 9 students who headed to Emu Gully Adventure Education (Helidon) for the day. In conjunction with their HASS studies of World War One, the students attempted various team-building challenges linked to different wartime experiences. Maneuvering “tanks”, tunnelling under enemy trenches and crossing the treacherous “Western Front” were all enthusiastically pursued. Throngs of muddy students proved that few let the wet weather stop their progress.
