Why Donate

With your support through the Building Levy, and through reaching our $30,000 community contribution fundraising goal last year, we are well on our way to seeing these two exciting projects come to life.

We always endeavor to keep Northside affordable for families. With additional money outside of tuition fees needed for building and project costs, we are thankful to YOU - our community - who provide these funds via the Building Levy, and to the generosity of those in the position to contribute extra to our building and development funds.

These 'community-contributed funds' are combined with College funds, bank loans, and any relevant government grants to allow our students to have purpose-built facilities.

We are excited about these projects and hope you can join us in imagining your child, their friends, and the generation of students to come learning and growing in these spaces to become the man or woman God has called them to be.

Update from the Principal

Where are our plans at….

You may have seen the bunting which recently appeared around the easement between A and B blocks announcing the approaching Parklands Project. This project has taken many years to gain the necessary approvals to pipe the creek between the buildings and reclaim the land for our youngest students.

I can share that the final approvals have now been received and we anticipate being able to invite tenders for the Civil works in the next few weeks. Once the major civil works are complete, the construction of the new junior school play zone and covered lunch area will be the ensuing priority.

Similar to the Parklands project, over the last three years we have been working through a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation submission to enable us to have permission to begin development on the two acreage blocks that the college was able to acquire on our northern boundary. The plan includes a full-size oval, improved parking options and campus access from Keona Road.

Last year our application progressed to the office of the Minister responsible for Infrastructure and we await the outcome. At times I wish that these plans might happen much quicker but be assured that the College has invested significant time and expertise to submit the best plans possible.

As we look for our campus to grow, to support our students as they advance from Strength to Strength, can I ask you to support us in two ways.

Firstly, we would ask you to pray for the ongoing approvals and finances necessary to complete the projects, especially given the recent escalation in building costs.

Secondly, I would invite you to join me in giving a gift to our Annual Giving Campaign. We were so blessed last year when we exceeded our target of $30 000. May Northside continue to grow from Strength to Strength.

With love and prayers,
College Principal, Leighton Kuss
