Family Administration Day 2024
Wednesday, 17 January
We extend a special invitation to all new Northside families to join us for Family Administration Day. Existing Northisde families are welcome to attend Family Administration Day, but it is not mandatory. On the day you will be able to find out your child's class, drop off stationery packs and pick up uniforms. All services and co-curricular options (sport, instrumental music) will be available on the day for questions and sign-up.

- New-to-Northside stall (College Hall)
- Class lists (also available online on Parent Lounge) (College Hall)
- Fee Administration Officer (College Main Reception)
- Instrumental Music and Private Tuition Program ( or sign up online) (College Hall)
- Bus Department (or sign up online) (College Hall)
- Outside School Hours Care (or sign up online) (College Hall)
- Uniform Shop (By appointment only)
- Junior School stationery drop off (A and B Blocks)
- Collect Years 7 - 12 textbooks (Secondary Library)
- Collect Years 7 and 10 student devices (Secondary Library)
What to bring with you on the day
- Junior School (except for Prep - Year 2) labeled stationery. If not possible to bring on the day, please bring it on the first day of school.
- Medical Action Plan (if applicable)
- Bank or Credit Card details
- School bag or heavy-duty bag for carrying books & stationery
- Secondary students and parents - Please ensure you have completed the computer program forms.
First day of school 2024
Please check your child's year level for pertinent information regarding orientation and the first day of school.
Prep
You will be notified regarding the group your child will be in during December 2023.
First Week of School
Group 1:
Monday, 22 January 2024 from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm. Students will require morning tea and leave at lunchtime.
Wednesday, 24 January 2024 from 8:30 am – 2:45 pm. Students will stay at school for the whole day. Morning tea and lunch will be required.
Group 2:
Tuesday, 23 January 2024 from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm. Students will require morning tea and leave at lunchtime.
Thursday, 25 January 2024 from 8:30 am – 2:45 pm. Students will stay at school for the whole day. Morning tea and lunch will be required.
Years 1 - 6
New student orientation Years 1-6
All new students must attend a short orientation between 8:30 am - 10:30 am on Monday, 22 January 2024. Students must attend in a full formal uniform. More information to follow.
First Day of School 2024 Years 1-6
All students in Years 1-6, new and existing, will commence a full day of classes on Tuesday, 23 January at 8:30 am - 3:00 pm.
Years 7 - 9
Year 7 Orientation
8:30 am on Monday, 22 January 2024. Please wear formal uniform. Meeting at the Lecture Theatre. Pick up at 10:30 am from the Middle School Courtyard.
Years 7-9 First Day of School
All students, new and existing, will commence a full day of classes on Tuesday, 23 January 2024 at 8:30 am starting in the Church Auditorium. Pick up at 3:15 pm.
Year 8 and 9 new student Orientation
All new Year 8 and Year 9 students are to attend orientation activities beginning at 8:30 am on Monday, 22 January 2024. Please wear formal uniform. Meeting in the Middle School Courtyard. Pick up at 10:30 am.
Years 10 - 12
Years 10 and 11 Orientation
All new students commencing in years 10 and 11 have an orientation from 8:30 am - 10:30 am on Monday, 22 January 2024.
Please wear the formal school uniform and meet at Music Room 2 in the CINC building. Pick-up is at 10:30 am.
Years 10-11 First Day of School
All year 10 and 11 students commence on Tuesday, 23 January 2024 at 8.30 am.
Year 11 students can take their bags to the CINC lockers on the ground level and then proceed to the Lecture Theatre for a Year Level Assembly.
Year 10 students can take their bags to the C block lockers and then proceed to the College Hall.
Year 12 First Day of School
Year 12’s commence on Monday, 22 January 2024 starting with coffee and muffins at 8 am at the CINC Kitchen. Year 12s then follow their Monday timetable found on TASS from 8.30am.
Your child's form class allocation
The form class allocation will be available to view on Parent Lounge from Wednesday, 17 January from 9 am. Class lists will also be available on campus on the day.
